We currently have two 2-bedroom mobile homes ($750/mo rent) and two 3-bedroom mobile homes ($900/mo rent) for rent in our mobile home community. - Where is your mobile home community located? New Pekin, IN.
- Do you guys have studios and one bedroom homes? No, we just have 2 and 3 bedroom mobile homes for rent.
- How can I fill out an application? Email us at easternestatesmhc@gmail.com and we’ll email you an application. You can fill it out on your phone, tablet, or computer.
- How much is your application fee? We don’t charge for an application. But background checks cost $32.95 per background check.
- What do you look for with background checks? We look for criminal history, eviction history, drug related crimes, etc.
- How much payment is required before move-in time? Prior to the move-in date we require the tenant to pay the first month’s rent, the last month’s rent, and the deposit all at once.
- How much is the deposit? It’s the same as the rent amount.
- What is your pet policy? For all new tenants coming into the community we allow only dogs and certain types of pets in the mobile home community. The "other pets" must be approved by management first. No cats allowed. We have breed restrictions for dogs (contact us if you have questions about that). When outside, dogs must always be leashed and must never be left unattended.
- Do you guys have any other mobile homes in other locations? No, we don't have any other mobile homes in any other location.
- Do you guys sell or rent-to-own mobile homes? No, we typically do not sell mobile homes or do rent-to-own.
- When is rent due? Rent is always due on the 1st of the month. Failure to pay the rent is grounds for eviction for non-payment.
- Who pays for utilities? The tenant pays for electricity, water and sewer, internet, and cable bills. We will pay for trash service.
- How do you calculate the water and sewer bills? The water and sewer bills are calculated using RUBS (Ratio Utility Billing System), which is legal in Indiana.
