We have 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom mobile homes for rent in our mobile home community. We typically do not sell mobile homes or do rent-to-own. - Where is your mobile home community located? New Pekin, IN.
- How can I fill out an application? Email us at easternestatesmhc@gmail.com and we’ll email you an application. You can fill it out on your phone, tablet, or computer.
- How much is your application fee? We don’t charge for an application. But background checks cost $32.95 per background check.
- What do you look for with background checks? We look for criminal history, eviction history, drug related crimes, etc.
- How much payment is required before move-in time? Prior to the move-in date we require the tenant to pay the first month’s rent, the last month’s rent, and the deposit all at once.
- How much is the deposit? It’s the same as the rent amount.
- What is your pet policy? We allow only dogs and cats in the mobile home community. All cats must stay in the home at all times. We have breed restrictions for dogs: no Pit bulls, Rottweilers, etc. When outside dogs must always be leashed and must never be left unattended.
- Do you guys have any other mobile homes in other locations? No, we don't have any other mobile homes in any other location.
- When is rent due? Rent is always due on the 1st of the month. Afterwards it’s late. On the 5th of the month there’s a $40 late fee added to the rent. Any unpaid rent beyond the 5th of the month is in danger of potential eviction for non-payment.
- When is the water and sewer bill due? The water and sewer bill is always due on the 14th of every month. If the total bill is not paid by the 14th of the month the water service of that home is in danger of being shut off. Bills can be paid online or by phone. The water and sewer bills for every home in the community is billed with the Ratio Utility Billing System method, which is legal in Indiana and is a common billing method used by mobile home communities and apartment complexes all over the US.
